Laurent Bardainne and his super-feline live on the Jazz à la Villette 2023 stage!
Laurent Bardainne, formerly known to fans of electro rock and lunar jazz, returns with his Tigre d’Eau Douce, the saxophonist’s first leading project. The whole of France now knows “Hymne au Soleil”, his album published last year which is a mix between a fine touch of electro and a soul-jazz repertoire of Blue Note from the 1960s, Maceo Parker from the 1990s and Ethio-jazz by Mulatu Astatke.
