Emile Parisien & Paris Jazz Festival All Star

Director: Guillaume Déro
Genre: Live Show

Watch

To close in beauty the 2018 edition of the Paris Jazz Festival and the final term of Pierrette Devineau and Sebastian Danchin, saxophonist Émile Parisien, whose first participation in the festival dates back to 2009, was invited to concoct a Carte blanche. He has surrounded himself with a group of artists who have played an important role in his career. A prestigious and intergenerational line-up: Michel Portal (bass clarinet), François Jeanneau, Thomas de Pourquery, Géraldine Laurent (saxophones), Daniel Humair, Mario Costa (drums), Bruno Chevillon, Simon Tailleu (double bass), Vincent Peirani (accordion), Roberto Negro, Julien Touéry, Bojan Z (piano and Rhodes), Fabrice Martinez (trumpet, flugelhorn), Manu Codjia (guitar), and, a little later, Leïla Martial (vocals), the very likely youngest member of the group.
