Eli Degibri comes from Israel’s vibrant jazz scene. This saxophonist, revealed by Herbie Hancock, has distinguished himself in many rich and multiple collaborations, sometimes as a leader and sometimes as a sideman.
For the past few months, the jazzman has been at the helm of the Eli Degibri Quartet, a group composed of Barak Mori (double bass) and the very young Gadj Lehavi (piano) and Ofri Nehemya (drums). Together, the four musicians have created Twelve, a real jazzy panorama where different eras, countries and styles meet. A journey through time and space that will easily satisfy the music lovers of the Django Reinhardt Festival.
