Dub is a musical genre that remixes reggae tracks, emphasizing basslines and drums. Beyond referencing a globalized musical genre, the dub of Franco-Senegalese choreographer Amala Dianor pays tribute to the ability to appropriate an artistic language. Surrounded by committed visual artist Grégoire Korganov and electro composer Awir Leon, he draws inspiration from the creativity of the musical movement to remix on stage the new urban dance practices born from social media. His language distorts the proposals of his very young dancers, coming from all over the world and encountered through travels spanning the United States, the Balkans, Korea, and Congo.
