Scenes of desire or suffering, of violence and sensuality, the creations of Claude Brumachon and Benjamin Lamarche, his long-term performer and accomplice, are tales of the inexpressible, mirrors of raging inner worlds, pushed to the limits of their own rules. Claude Brumachon and Benjamin Lamarche become researchers in the field of poetic and energetic movements. They created a dance alternately energetic and tormented, lyrical and passionate, inspired and romantic, down to hearth and heavy with meaning.
After thirty years of exploration and research, from labs to passion, love, paradox, anger, falls, images of delirium, embracing and burning movements, anatomy, muscle, Claude Brumachon and Benjamin Lamarche felt the desire to look into their own work. Their maturity pushed them to look into the human being; the one who dances, the one who lives. From these decomposed movements, the idea of a triptych was born –La Trilogie de la chair (Trilogy of the flesh) – with D’indicibles Violences as its first part.
