The violinist Didier Lockwood occupies an essential place in contemporary jazz. He played with the greatest names, produced many artists, taught music. He celebrates, on the stage of the Châtelet, the fortieth anniversary of a well filled career which, since the years 1970 and the first discs with Magma, embraces the important musical currents of the second half of the XXth century: jazz, jazz-rock and classical.
