Charlotte Gainsbourg, crowned female artist of the year at the last Victoires de la Musique, released a new opus on November 17, an uncompromising self-portrait that was hailed by the French and international press. Called “Rest”, this record, produced by SebastiAn, is composed of eleven magnificent tracks recorded in New York, including “Songbird in a Cage”, composed by Paul McCartney, but also the single “Rest”, co-written and composed by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo or the excellent “Deadly Valentin” and “Ring-A-Ring O’ Roses”.
