With his unclassifiable style and appearances always full of surprises, Boys Noize is the king of turntables. He shows it once again at the Peacock Society!
“Too Many French People Here”. No, it’s not the city of Montreal or the Australian embassy that says it, but Alexandre Rhida aka Boys Noize during his lightning appearance in the duo’s film Justice A Cross The Universe. Although he was born in Hamburg and now lives in Berlin, the French electro scene under the Ed Banger label is where he belongs. His short-lived duet with Mr. Oizo (Handbraekes) and his collaboration with Jean Michel-Jarre bear witness to this.
Remixer, producer, entrepreneur and, above all, good friend, Rhida created his own label Boys Noize Records in 2005, which enabled him, among other things, to bring out the now-ubiquitous Siriusmo. As for Rhida’s solo work, in addition to a multitude of remixes, he has recorded five albums to date, the latest of which was released in 2021 under the mysterious name +/-.
