The documentary dives into the heart of Beijing’s punk/rock scene, meeting the underground and established bands and festivals. Inspired by occidental trends, from the Sex Pistols to Motörhead or Depeche Mode, they have created their own sound.

The director visits local punk bands in Tongzhou, popular area of Beijing, and goes to the more official Straberry Festival and punk MIDI Festival. He meets with garage band Demerit and girl led band S-Mud and spends time with the peaceful skinhead singer of Misandao, also owner of a soup restaurant and halal meat market. He follows one of the most popular rock band Second Hand Rose at rehearsals and backstage.
