Always displaying a class that allows them to evolve well above the others, Arctic Monkeys have once again proved at the Nuits de Fourvière that they are the greatest rock band in the world today, and this despite the fact that the latest album of the English combo of the now Californian Alex Turner, Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, is a nice risk-taking sounding… jazz pop lounge. Even on a night of the French football team’s World Cup semi-final, the ultra-popular Arctic Monkeys sold out the Roman theaters of Fourvière (one of the most beautiful places to attend a concert in France, if not in the world), drawing a crowd of great days mostly composed of a very young and enthusiastic audience, knowing all the lyrics by heart and giving their voices on all the songs.
