The documentary _Herbie_ traces the full journey of one of the greatest jazz musicians of all time. The majority of the film is built around two long, previously unreleased interviews with Herbie Hancock, recorded at his home and in his studio in Los Angeles.
Herbie recounts his studies in electrical engineering and music at Grinnell College in Iowa, as well as his early beginnings alongside Donald Byrd and Pepper Adams, all while continuing to attend classes at Roosevelt University.
