Youn Sun Nah and Eric Legnini take the Jazz à Porquerolles festival by storm in a concert combining voice and piano. A live discovery of the album Elles.

Youn Sun Nah began her career in her native South Korea. In 1994, she left her country to study in France. It was there that she discovered jazz and gained notoriety for her obvious talent. She then divided her time between Seoul and Paris, where her unique voice and freshness charmed European and Asian audiences alike. Today, she is one of the great figures of international vocal jazz.

For this concert at Jazz à Porquerolles, Youn Sun Nah’s voice is accompanied by the notes of pianist Eric Legnini. The duo’s complicity allows us to immerse ourselves in the world of Youn Sun Nah’s eleventh album: Elles, released in January 2024. The superb cover versions on this album, from Nina Simone to Edith Piaf and Grace Jones, are a delight to listen to.
