Funny destiny this Seasick Steve, funny guy this Steve Leach, of his real name… The sexagenarian American guitarist cultivates his legend, that of a beaten child who left the family home at 13, companion of Janis Joplin and Joni Mitchell in the years 1960, who became father in Norway before returning to the country to chaperone Kurt Cobain. Since 2006, Seasick Steve has released ten albums, with guests including Nick Cave, Jack White and the bassist of Led Zeppelin. At festival Cabaret Vert, a month before the release of the album Can U Cook ?, Seasick Steve, accompanied by a drummer and another guitarist, gave a lesson in life through music.
