The product of a collaboration between the Bloodgroup singer and their sound engineer, you could say Kiasmos was born from musical adultery.
Fortunately, it’s not a question of dependent children or pension, because it is in parallel with their careers that the Icelandic Ólafur Arnalds and the Faroese Janus Rasmussen began the Kiasmos project. Both fans of breaking down barriers between classical and electronic genres, the islanders have managed to find a balance between their respective specialties: classical for Arnalds and electro for Rasmussen.
A balance that filters throughout their eponymous debut album. A work combining the rigor of techno and house to the softness of classical arrangements that the duo serves at the Gaîté Lyrique.
