In 1978, The Cimarons brought reggae to Ireland for the first time ! Musical pioneers, on top of UK & Jamaican charts, Bob Marley was desperate for them to become his Wailers. But they decided to took their sound in countries where reggae had never been heard before : France, Japan, Ghana, Nigeria… After diving into the historical and social context connecting Ireland and Jamaica, the documentary features interviews of all of the surviving members, a live performance of their classic hits from the 1970s, and exclusive archival footages of an incredible tour.
