The music and lyrics of Fado songs have an important role in the film as they are guiding us through the story, mainly focusing on two characters, Ivone Dias and Marta Miranda, whose different voices lead us into the soul of Lisbon’s Fado community.

The documentary was directed by Judit Klamár and Céline Coste Carlisle and was partially supported by the Museu do Fado (Lisbon’s Fado Museum) and RTP (National Portuguese Television).
