Myung-Whun Chung celebrates fifteen years directing the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
In the roman theater of Orange, with the complicity of Martha Argerich and Nicholas Angelich, they offer a thrilling concert program composed of Hector Berlioz’s “Carnaval Romain” opening followed by Francis Poulenc’s “Concerto for two pianos” and Camille Saint-Saëns’s “Symphony No. 3 in C minor”, also known as the Organ Symphony. The program concludes with and extraordinary Encore featuring Myung-Whun Chung, Martha Argerich, Nicholas Angelich aside at the piano with six hands playing Rachmaninov’s Romance and followed by the famous Bizet’s Carmen opening played with the entire orchestra.
