First there was a successful reunion on stage at Leeds & Reading in 2010, then a concert at the Zenith in Paris last year that left no one indifferent. After playing at Glastonbury this summer, festivals T in The Park, Reading, Leeds and Rock en Seine, The Libertines are definitely back with a new album this time around “Anthems For Doomed Youth” released September 11. The band’s third album was produced by Jake Gosling and recorded at the Karma Sound Studios in Thailand, in six weeks between April and May 2015. This album, already acclaimed by the press is the first since their studio album “Libertines” released in 2004 that topped the charts before becoming a British rock classic. The group and their original line up (Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hassall and Gary Powell) is preparing to open a new chapter in their history after scoring the minds of an entire generation.
